Part 1 - Introduction to the Heart of the Matter

We think we have good reasons for attending church.

But most of those reasons ring hollow when we ask, “Why, really, do I come to

church?” It would be just as easy to go to another church, one with more of this or less

of that. Tradition and involvement are not the reasons I keep coming back, even crave

coming back when I occasionally have to miss a Sunday.
